What changes for you

  • Longer single takes. 3.0 tops out at 15 seconds per render; 4.0 is designed for 30-second shots without stitching.
  • More control over time. Keyframes let you dictate where a 30-second shot goes, instead of one opening and one closing frame.
  • Consistency across shots. Fifteen references plus "elements" aim at the character-drift problem that still bites multi-shot work on 3.0.
  • Cost. 4.0 prices are unpublished; expect them above 3.0's $0.084–$0.14/s.

Which one should you use today?

Kling 3.0 — it is the one that exists. It already handles text-to-video, image-to-video with start and end frames, and generated audio, and it is what this site renders with until 4.0 passes our test.

Try Kling now

You can generate text-to-video and image-to-video clips with Kling 3.0 on this site today; the result card always names the model that rendered it. When Kling 4.0 passes our own test render it switches on automatically — the banner at the top of this page is the live status.
