Kling 4.0 is announced but not live here yet. Every clip is rendered with Kling 3.0 and labelled as such; we switch automatically once the Kling 4.0 API passes our test.

The short answer

Kuaishou has committed to a month, not a day: Kling 4.0 launches in October 2026. As of 11 October no launch date has been published.

What "launch" will likely mean

  • Availability in the Kling app for paid tiers first, then wider plans.
  • A developer API on Kling's open platform and on partner gateways such as fal. Expect per-second pricing like Kling 3.0 ($0.084–$0.14/s on fal today).
  • Some headline features (10-bit HDR, two-minute extension) are marked "coming soon" even for Flash, so they may trail the launch.

What this site will do

The moment a Kling 4.0 endpoint is live and passes our own test render, Kling 4.0 switches on here automatically — no waiting for a site update. Until then every clip uses Kling 3.0 and is labelled as such.
